The Circuit of Spa-Francorchamps on the starting line for the 2024 season

NEWS - Press release

The year 2023 is on its last corners but the Circuit of Spa-Francorchamps is already on the starting line for the 2024 season!

This season has been particularly successful with thrilling races, both on 2 and 4 wheels, with our organisers paying particular attention to ensure the public was fully entertained both on and off the track. Spectators were able to take advantage of the amazing view from the new Endurance stand and terraces, and made no mistake about it! They were there in force during  Circuit weekends and a number of championships taking place such as Formula 1, the WEC or the 24Hr of Spa-Francorchamps, to name just a few of them, had record attendances.

The 2024 season promises once again to be rich and diversified with renowned national and international championships but also high-quality sporting events. There will be a total of 26 weekends of races and motorsports events taking place in 2024 with new items on the programme!

It all kicks off on the 31st March with the BDG Motor Show in a thoroughly-revamped format. During the month of April we have the Porsche Club Francorchamps Days, the Hankook 12Hr Spa-Francorchamps and the Spa Summer Classic. The month of May begins with the Franco Fun Festival, one week ahead of the WEC – TotalEnergies 6Hr of Spa-Francorchamps from the 9th to the 11th of May. Indeed, this burgeoning championship heralds the arrival of seven new brands: Alpine, Lamborghini, BMW, Isotta Fraschini, McLaren, Ford and Lexus, joining the FIA WEC starting grid and they will be battling for category victories with Ferrari, Toyota, Porsche, Peugeot, Cadillac, Corvette and Aston Martin. Hot on their heels will be the Spa Classic, the International GT Open and the Spa Euro Race

The two-wheelers take over the track in June with the 8 Hours of Spa Motos, followed by the  Spa Italia. Then it’s time for the 2024 season highlights taking place on the Ardennes track with the return of the SRO Speed Week from the 21st to the 23rd of June, followed by an edition of the CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa that should not be missed on any account. Indeed, the CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa will fittingly celebrate their centenary at the Circuit of Spa-Francorchamps for an edition already promising to be memorable both on and off track with some breathtaking activities.

The Hankook 25 Hours Fun Cup marks the start of July and we follow that by welcoming the Spa Asia. After a short break, it’s time for the eagerly-awaited F1 Belgian Grand Prix that closes the first half of an intense track season the last weekend of July.

We return to two wheelers on the 10th and 11th August with the Bikers’ Festival, then the Bug Show. The ELMS – 4Hr of Spa-Francorchampstakes the track from the 23rd to the 25th of August. A new item to highlight is the Spa Historic Competition + ADAC Racing Weekend straddling August/September.

Of course the season does not end with back-to school: the Creventic Porsche Endurance Cup, Porsche Sports cup, 6 hours Moto and Spa Six Hours will delight the public in September.

Last but not least, the Super Spa takes place the first weekend of October and the racing and sporting events season comes to an end with the 24H2CV on the 19th and 20th of October.

The Circuit of Spa-Francorchamps is offering an intense season to its public in 2024 and, apart from numerous weekends when entry is free or at a reasonable price,  there are activities on track every day, accessible to one and all.

And let’s not forget our tourism offers of completely-free walks, available off-season as well, taking place between the sporting seasons: the Circuitsp’Adventure lets you discover another facet of the Circuit, its flora and fauna, and you can also enjoy a stroll on our centenary trail along the banks of the Eau Rouge retracing the Circuit’s story via 10 helmets embellished with text, accessible via QR code, that are spread across the entire site.

We’re so impatient for the start of the 2024 season and can’t wait to experience new adventures together, with friends, or as a family, to create new memories and enjoy to the full the exceptional days that are promised in the year ahead!
