  • Collectors to be invited to attend the 2024 CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa

In 2024, the CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa will celebrate its 100th anniversary. This important milestone marks 100 years of endurance racing on the most beautiful circuit in the world, 100 years of passion, 100 years of emotions – and 100 years of memories.

The centenary edition is set to be truly exceptional, with plans underway for more activities than ever before. While it is too early to reveal full details of the 2024 programme, one thing is certain: this celebration will be yours, too. Indeed, the organisers would like to involve all CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa enthusiasts so that they can participate in the festivities. To start the countdown to the centenary, the first project can be revealed: a temporary collective exhibition entitled ‘The Gallery of Time’.

You are invited to exhibit your own objects and souvenirs to pay tribute to this event – long known as the 24 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps – which was the pinnacle of touring car racing before it became the most important GT contest in the world.

There are plenty of possibilities. Do you have posters, programmes, photos or personal videos from previous editions? Perhaps there are souvenirs, helmets or driver suits, passes, press kits or other items? You may even own a car that took part in the 24 Hours, or an official vehicle. In 100 years, the event has passed through every era of motor racing and the idea of sharing what makes it so special to you cannot be missed.

“Whether you are an established collector or a fan of the CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa, we want to allow you to become involved in this anniversary by paying tribute to the race that we all love so much," explains Laurent Gaudin, the General Manager of the event. “The CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa attracts a community that makes it the meeting of the year for many enthusiasts. It is this family spirit, this sense of shared passion, that we wish to highlight. After all, this anniversary also belongs to you."

'The Gallery of Time' will be a temporary collective exhibition, but with guarantees for those who will contribute to it. “People who know me will understand that I am a collector myself and that I am very attached to history and old objects,” continues Laurent Gaudin. “I can therefore assure collectors that we will take the greatest care with the personal treasures that they entrust to us for this completely new temporary exhibition.

"It will be the fruit of this common passion that drives the organiser, the institutions and the fans. The goal is to awaken everyone's memories by sharing what this race has made us dream of during the past 100 years. In addition to the pleasure of sharing their collection with the general public, collectors will be privileged guests at the CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa and we are planning different ways to thank them, including allowing them to expand their collection with exclusive items such as autographed posters and miniatures."
