The Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps has entered a partnership with MASCOT® WORKWEAR, which means the workshop employees will be dressed in MASCOT’s workwear until 2026. MASCOT® WORKWEAR has had ties to the world of motorsport for several years already, collaborating with several Danish and international motorsport teams and circuits – including the Alfa Romeo F1 Team Stake and GMB Motorsport. Le Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps a 100 ans!
La naissance officielle du Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps remonte en effet au 12 août 1921 et c’est par le biais d’un Grand Prix réservé aux motos que l’histoire du circuit entre dans le vif du sujet. Deux ans plus tôt, alors que la suppression des postes de douane permet la création d’un circuit en Belgique, le tracé part de Francorchamps pour se poursuivre sur les terres communales de Bévercé, Malmedy et Stavelot. Na de uitzonderlijke overstromingen die België gedurende meerdere dagen hebben getroffen en die gisteravond aanzienlijk zijn verergerd in de omgeving van het Circuit van Spa-Francorchamps, is er heel wat schade vastgesteld, voornamelijk aan de ondersteunende infrastructuur van het Circuit. De Blanchimont-weg, die toegang geeft tot de paddocks, is gedeeltelijk ingestort en de tunnels van Ster en Blanchimont zijn niet toegankelijk.
