The Francorchamps region: rich in authenticity

The Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps Museum will give you a broad overview of the prestigious history of the Ardennes track.
Stavelot
Surrounded by an abbey site classified as one of Wallonia's outstanding heritage sites, Stavelot has the preserved façade of an 18th-century town, with its majestic Grand Place, its stone and half-timbered houses, its ruins, its alleyways and its fountains.
As the historic and cultural centre of the Haute Ardenne, the town’s beating heart is its three museums and its ongoing cultural activities, with a series of exhibitions, international music, French chanson, jazz, storytelling and theatre festivals, and major folk festivals such as the Laetare des Blancs Moussis, one of Belgium's most famous carnivals.
Once an abbey principality, the Stavelot region is home to the great Ardennes forest. From the fens between Hockai and Coo, where the beautiful Amblève really gets going, it offers magnificent scenery and dozens of kilometres of walks leading to peaceful hamlets along old paths steeped with stories.
Over the centuries, nature and man have shaped the face of the Stavelot region, a land of history and culture, but above all a land of welcome.
