Do not miss this event !

The final count has begun ... Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 August, the 6 Heures Moto de Spa-Francorchamps will put the two wheels in the center of attention on the most beautiful circuit in the world. Between novelties, an international five star entry list and the glorious uncertainty of endurance, there are plenty of good reasons not to miss out on such an event...

Endurance is trendy !

As we know, the return of the Endurance World Championship for motorcycles in Francorchamps is coming soon. Excellent news that gives an unprecedented dimension to the 6 Heures Moto. Between now and 2022 with the new 24-hour event, this DG Sport event becomes a teaser. Act 1 this Sunday, August 18th!

The only motorcycle endurance race in Belgium

Let it be said, the 6 Heures Moto de Spa-Francorchamps remain the only modern endurance race in our country. It is also the only round on Belgian territory of the national championship. In short, there is no possibility of catching up. For fans and those who are interested, it's Sunday ... or never!

NEW ! The 6 Heures Moto Parade in the heart of Spa

This is undoubtedly the great novelty of the year, proof of the dynamism characterizing the 6 Heures Moto. Saturday, August 17th, as from 18:00, motorcycles, teams and riders will descend to the centre of Spa, for a Parade that promises to be as spectacular as popular. A full immersion with the public, especially since the access is absolutely free. Circus Trial Tour & Parys Printing Gird Girls Contest !

During this 6 Heures Moto Parade in the heart of Spa, it will of course be possible to approach riders and machines ... but not just them ! The teams will be faced for the first time with the Parys Printing Grid Girls Contest, a contest calling on their spirit of inventiveness to attract the attention of fans and the general public Saturday night. Success guaranteed ! And many gifts are at stake, offered by Parys Printing, Dunlop and Ipone. That's not all ! Non-stop spectacle on Sunday !

It will be a complete show on Saturday night but on Sunday, from 9 am, the motorcycles will go on the track for a long qualification session of 120 minutes ! The hunt for the pole position is likely to change several times along the way. Half an hour after the end of the qualification, the starting procedure will begin, and at the stroke of 11:55, the start of the 6 Heures Moto de Spa-Francorchamps will be given. As you see, the show continues the whole day long...

Le Mans style start

It is a delightful feature of endurance events. As the national flag goes down, the riders take a sprint to their motorcycles, which wait on the other side of the track, along the pit wall. Once they start running with the machines, the engines can be turned on and the platoon of approximately sixty machines will rush towards the Source. Undoubtedly one of the highlights of the 6 Heures Moto de Spa-Francorchamps ...

International stars ... already!

The announcement of the return of the World Endurance Championship in 2022 has caused a lot of talk lately, it must be recognized that the 6 Heures Moto 2019 will already be offering a nice international list of participants that will not fail to enhance the level of the event. Starting with Xavier Siméon, from MotoGP, riding the Yamaha R1 of the Dunlop Test Team alongside the Frenchman Julien Da Costa. From the World Endurance Championship there's Greg Fastré, a regional star and expert of the event, he will defend the colours of Mototech EWC Team with Camille Hedelin and Vincent Lonbois. As for the Ducati Luxembourg team, they focus on the ultimate experience with the trio Fissette-Jadoul-Mertens, who need no further presentation. Add to that team Wilbers J&I Racing, the British of Seton Tuning and Edge RST Racing I, and of course Phenix-Racing Ruby 1000 Inter, with no one less than the German Marvin Fritz and the Dutchman Bobby Boss alongside the ... boss Fabian François, and you have to admit that the list of competitors is pretty impressive !

Place your bets !

As a direct result of this quality entry list, the battle for the victory will be breathtaking. The one who will climb that final podium will have to be very clever. Recall that last year, the Mototech EWC Team won with Greg Fastré, Nigel Walraven and Marc Buchner, and that the previous editions were won by Marc Fissette under the colours of Suzuki Racing Team and RM Motos Competitions. Oh yes, in 2014, Dunlop Racing had the last word. The tone is set…
