Press Release

This Wednesday 6 May, the Belgian National Security Council has taken several decisions concerning the easing of the lockdown measures on Belgian territory as part of the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic.
In this context, it has announced a ban on holding any sporting competition until 31 July inclusive. Thus it will not be possible to have any race take place on the Circuit of Spa-Francorchamps until that date.
The Circuit of Spa-Francorchamps is waiting attentively for the next communication from the Belgian National Security Council in regards to its other activities (sporting events) on track that will be studied as part of the Phase 2 framework expected on 18 May but also for its sporting competitions subsequent to 31 July.
We would like to warmly thank all our organisers, the teams and our fans for their understanding and support.
The priority for each one of us is now, and must remain, to respect all the directives set out in all our interests.
Take care, follow all official recommendations, avoid all unnecessary contacts and stay home as much as possible. Also take good care of your loved ones.
