Partial reopening of the Circuit of Spa-Francorchamps

The Circuit of Spa-Francorchamps welcomes the decision taken today by the Consultation Committee, expanded to include experts on the lockdown, to allow a partial resumption of activities from Monday the 18th of May.
The resumption of individual professional sports training is therefore authorised. Accordingly, a maximum of 20 people, per group, can return to the track under the supervision of a coach or supervisor. This training will take place behind closed doors, i.e. without spectators.
The Circuit of Spa-Francorchamps has introduced a series of health and prevention measures (masks, visors, hydroalcoholic gel, etc.) as well as social distancing in order to comply with the guidelines issued by the authorities, to ensure that the health of its clients, organisers, employees, officials and partners is protected.
Specific procedures relating to logistics and medical services (traffic flow and access plan, etc.) have also been issued. The guidelines to ensure the health and safety of all will be strictly applied, with the full cooperation of our organisers.
Finally, the Circuit of Spa-Francorchamps would like to thank the Walloon Government for its support in the negotiations over the past weeks.
Please find below the Walloon Government’s official statement.
