As confirmed recently by DG Sport, the 2020 Bikers’Classics will indeed take place on Saturday 4 and Sunday 5 July*, in the form of track sessions accessible only to classic bikes. This is excellent news for all enthusiasts who have been eating their heart out for many weeks, and who will once again be able to have fun on the asphalt lane, which is known to be the most beautiful one in the world.
"Participants in this 2020 edition of Bikers'Classics will not regret the trip, because during the two days, they will be able to enjoy not 7, but 8 sessions of 20 minutes, announces Florian Jupsin, Bike Manager at DG Sport. A total of 2 hours and 40 minutes of track time for each ! Enough to recharge your batteries and enjoy a weekend of 100% passion and nostalgia between competitors, each and every one of them sharing the same passion ... "
The classic motorcycles will be classified by age category and DG Sport has also responded to the request from the sidecar owners, who will be offered two 20-minute sessions per day. “The sidecars of the past are part of the Bikers’Classics,” continues Florian Jupsin. It was out of the question to forget them when rethinking the concept of this edition in this very peculiar year. So yes, dear sidecar friends, we are waiting for you and your amazing machines in Francorchamps on July 4th and 5th! "
The schedule for the two days contains runs between 9 am and 6 pm, and a lunch break between 12 and 1 pm.
As a reminder, given the circumstances, the public will not be allowed at the Spa-Francorchamps Circuit, which will be exceptionally reserved for competitors only in order of entry. Specific rules will also apply in order to guarantee everyone's safety.
