Spa Summer Classic

a meeting with the history.... of motorsport

It's proof that classic car races are attracting more and more spectators.

The Spa Summer Classic, the second meeting of the season devoted to the glorious past of motorsport, will take place this weekend, the 25th and 26th of June. This meeting, always remarkably well organised, introduces a great novelty this year: the “Spa 3 Hours” with the start taking place on Saturday at 6.55 pm. Cars dating from 1947 -1976 are expected at the start of this endurance race! Touring cars (TC), Grand Touring cars (GTS), Grand Touring Prototypes (GTP) but also two-seater, open or closed racing cars (TSRC).

At least 22 starts are expected during the weekend. A multitude of races, sprint and endurance, for "historic and classic cars" which will follow one after the other over the course of two days. With, for example, the Belgian Historic Cup Championship and the Dutch championship for Touring cars and classic GTs. The English cars from the Classic Sports Car Club, single-seaters with the Monoposto & F3 Cup, the Lotus Super 7 cars from the Iberian peninsula, but also a multi-brand challenge gathering together all the best French production series cars and finally the Porsche Club Historic Challenge... in summary,  Formula cars, two-seater Sport cars, Touring and Grand Touring cars from the 50s right up to the 80s. For the great delight of the eyes... and ears!

So, if you are looking for a time machine to go back to yesteryear, you can find it this weekend at Spa-Francorchamps and nowhere else! And this devilish machine will not cost you as entry is free, stands and paddocks included.
