60 teams at the start!
After the Bug Show weekend and its atmosphere which is always very special, it's now time for pure and tough sport with the 6 Hours Motorbikes.
"Since the new formula was inaugurated the 6 Hours have never known such passion on the part of participants". The unique endurance race in the Belgian calendar for modern motorcycles will certainly live on. No fewer than 60 teams will be at the start on the most beautiful Circuit in the world. A lot of amateurs, of course, but also some of the top drivers for whom this event is one of the most important of the year. It must be said that the Belgian calendar of races reserved for motorcycles is fairly limited, which justifies the excitement of teams who will be present this 14th of August.
One of the particularities of this event is that it takes place on a single day (trials and race) which greatly reduces the costs, especially for the amateur teams. An opportunity also seized by several foreign teams who are coming from Germany, the Netherlands, France, Switzerland and even Great Britain.
It's thrilling and really impressive to see these bikes speed along from the top of the Source bend and then watch them hurtling down the slope leading to the Raidillon to attack this arbiter of justice. This visual impression is very different from seeing cars racing on 4 wheels. So, feel free to drop by the Circuit this Sunday, the 14th of August. Hostilities begin at 9 am for the first trials. The start of the race takes place at noon for 6 hours of unique intensity!
