Spa Six Hours

Past and Present combined in motorsport

The Spa Six Hours, the big annual meeting of historic races, is one of the most keenly-awaited meetings by enthusiasts. And, just like the spectators, the Circuit is getting ready to vibrate to the sounds of these wonderful race cars during next weekend the 16, 17 and 18 September.

On the programme are some Formula 1, Prototype, GT, and Touring cars, among others, with the flagship event, the Spa Six Hours, traditionally held on Saturday between 4pm and 10pm. In this regard, let's note that Gerhard Berger will be there. The former F1 star will participate in the Six Hours at the wheel of a Ford GT40. At least 12 models of this legendary car will be at the start of this Endurance, but they will not be the only ones hoping to claim victory. The Lola T70, AC Cobra, Jaguar Type E, Aston Martin, Ford Mustang, Ferrari 250 GT, and other cars, will be ready to make their lives difficult and try to steal the show in such a highly-anticipated race.

The FIA Masters Historic Formula One Championship will also be getting top billing at this magnificent event. To see once again these cars from the 60s, 70s and 80s is always a great opportunity that should not be missed under any pretext. All the more so as a Belgian driver, Loïc Deman, at the wheel of a Tirell 010, is in the fight for the title of this season. There will be 22 cars at the start of two rounds which promises to be explosive. One will take place on Saturday at 1:40pm and the other on Sunday at 4:10pm.

Apart from these two headline races, no fewer than 10 other races are also billed on the programme over these 3 days. Certainly, an amazing show is being prepared for spectators who are getting both more numerous and more enthusiastic each year.
