Spa 400

13-15/04

The Spa 400 400-minute race, taking on the mantle as the heir to a Belgian endurance tradition on the Circuit of Spa-Francorchamps, is set to return for the 2018 season.

Touring cars, Silhouettes and GTs will be in attendance for a richly-varied weekend. Organised by the BGDC, this meeting will allow so-called ‘amateur’ competitors (but in the end not really such amateurs) to take part in a real endurance race.

On Saturday at 10.30 am, there will be almost 60 German DMV NES 500 championship cars which will take to the track, followed by the Super Car Challenge a little after 3 pm. On Sundy you can admire the 100 Series racing cards from 9 am on during the Pit Walk while the GTs and Protos of the Super Car Challenge will take to the track for a second race from 9.20 am. Just after 11 am the Spa 400, as part of the 100 Series championship, will start off the 400 minutes.

This meeting will be enjoyable for families as, apart from the race, there will also be lots of other activities available to keep both children and adults entertained.

On Sunday there will be a leg of the celebrated Trophée des Petits Patelins, the official soap box derby competition organised within the circuit.

The F1 Pit building terrace will have lots of varied activities: bouncy castles, inflated goal, elastarun, ball pit, slot racing, face-painting, small electric cars for the little ones, and a carrousel, so that you will have an abundance of choice in the Kids’ Corner to spend an enjoyable day as a family. The IFAPME will also be in attendance to offer you a hairdressing salon.

The distribution of Panini albums and World Cup 2018 and cinema tickets for Taxi 5 will complete a really great weekend for the general public of the Spa 400.
