Almost ready for the off: the 2016 season!

Just like every year at this time, and after a long winter period of hard work, the Circuit is preparing to open its doors for a new season. In fact, the first event of the annual operating calendar to welcome in new visitors will take place on Wednesday, 16 March. And the opportunity of this symbolic date is given up to the team of José Close and JCL Driving.

Once again this year, the calendar of the most beautiful Circuit in the world is absolutely full, and its dynamic team will have no time to get bored when greeting its visitors, clients and event organisers. This season, the very best Belgian and international championships have chosen Spa-Francorchamps to organise an event in their calendar. They know very well that the public adore this legendary Circuit, its environment, and its difficult, natural and varied track is a global benchmark for every driver and team.

But this is also true for every enthusiast who can realise their dream: to set off on an assault of the Raidillon, when taking part in a “trackday”. Amongst the activities organised by the Circuit itself, let us recall that, right throughout the year there are track-introduction sessions, guided tours and the famous “Public Driving Experience” events. Just remember that the "Public Driving Experience" is reserved for amateurs! It allows members of the public to discover the joys of the Circuit at the wheel of their own car in complete safety.

The spirit of competition is out of the question, but rather an atmosphere of conviviality and respect for all participants, whatever their level of competence. The Circuit’s security service and track marshals ensure that this spirit is respected. The first date for these days is scheduled for this 28 March (Easter Monday). Let the word go out to one and all!
